Decided to go out as a last minute decision before dark as the howling wind made it look colder outside than it actually was and I was considering postponing. However I realised I'd be even less likely to want to go out the next morning if it was grey and miserable. Used my hotwater-in-my-wee-drinkbottles technique for the first time this season. The two tiny patches of warmth in the small of my back make heading out the door more bearable somehow.
