35 Last March run

  Didn't go all the way along to the beach as there was an evil North wind so we just did the circuit along the canal behind the tattie field then round the back of the gasworks. Did a bit of a sprint when the dog was lagging behind to sniff endlessly at something fascinating and wouldn't come when I called so I ran back to him to swear loudly and get him moving again. (This amuses him greatly and he briefly jumps around me like a prancing lion but I can also see in the set of his ears that he knows he's done wrong and he keeps closer to me for the rest of the run home.)

34 Cheating...

 Took the van down to the parking place behind the dyke today as I had to move it anyway and wanted to have a wee test run after getting it back from the garage yesterday.  Met a man with a spaniel who was neither impressed nor intimidated by Ragnar after he slipped his collar to go and have a sniff at him.  Taking the van meant that our run was shorter than usual but I still did a fair bit back along the cycle path before going over the dyke to the sea.

26 Found water bottle

Rubbish photo but my fingers were still frozen despite the thick gloves.

Found a water bottle I lost a few days ago on the way home.  I''ve since tightened up the pocket on my running belt so that things no longer fall out of it so easily.

 Not a great photo...Thick mist plus gloved finger...

Could hardly see what I was doing for the cold and the mist, which was much thicker on the beach than in town.  

22 Found Gloves

 

Yes, yes, they're odd gloves.  Indicating that their partners have been lost in the past.  But I'm happy I found them back this morning, more or less where I'd expected them to be after letting them fall out of my running belt pouch 2 days ago.  Luckily it's been uncharacteristically non-windy here recently.
