Despite the tremendous thunderstorm a few hours earlier the air still seemed to be saturated with water and I was soon sweating much more than normal.  I avoided the waterlogged bridle paths I usually use as much as possible.  This meant a bit of my route on the cycle path took me past a newly installed viewfinder binoculars thing looking out over the lake.
