Yesterday during my zigzag run on the beach to make up the 10k I got the idea to 'write' on the beach so that I could see that on my Garmin map afterwards. Hmm, have just uploaded the Garmin graph and it hasn't really worked. Letters were probably too small for the direction changes to register as I have it set at the battery saving option where it only registers a point on the map every 5 seconds (or so, I've forgotten the details). I'll see if I can adjust it to the more accurate mapping version and try again tomorrow. Think I'll take the car out to Monster and run out on the Sandmotor.
