On the day that Tanya should have arrived but didn't, went out to see if there was any sign of the troublesome Icelandic volcanic dust.
There was certainly a good dramatic red-sky-at-night sunset so maybe it did have some effect after all. Out to the Soesterduinen, the sand was 'heavier' feeling than normal as it was completely dry. This makes it softer and slippier to run on. Took in some more road and pavement on the way back, in the hope that my legs/feet will be ready for this in the Vibrams on Sunday in Hilversum.
