It never really ever got properly light during this morning's run, even after official sunrise time. Mist kept visibility low and the light there was was heavy and dark, despite all the snow still lying about to catch and reflect it.
Under foot it was often slippery on the roads, despite the plus temperatures the ground is still frozen.
