Saw a beautiful big beast trotting happily towards me and had time to get my camera out as he approached. Sil was in fanatic hunting mode but luckily her attention was caught by some water rats instead of by hares so it didn't involve a high speed chase and me yelling a lot this time. I saw one of the rats swimming across the ditch and Sil spent a good while pouncing like a fox but with no results.
