Start 16.00
Went out to see if the beavers had felled their tree yet but not much progress has been made this week. Too cold? Change of building plans? It felt much colder than the day before as there was a fair wind coming off the water and after about 5 minutes I realised my ears were freezing so pulled my buff up into semi-terrorist mode. (It doesn't look quite as scary as the black one, which I seem to have misplaced - I could really do with one round my neck and one on my head now that it's around freezing.)
